Chartered Building Surveyor, MSc (construction Law) BSc (Hons) MCIOB, ACIArb, MEWI. Rod Appleyard holds a CUBS diploma from the Law Faculty of Cardiff University showing that he is fully trained in all aspects from compiling a report in a manner that is acceptable to both the legal profession and courts. This, along with being a member of The Expert Witness Institute and an Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, shows the depth of commitment to the role of the independent expert that is applied.
Rod Appleyard, having extensive experience of all aspects of the construction industry and being a building envelope/fenestration (glass & frames) expert, is regularly appointed by Insurance Companies, Legal representatives and parties to a dispute. It is his experience and academic qualifications that often make the decision to appoint the preferred choice as the best person for the job. It makes no difference whether it is a multi million pound commercial scheme, a window installation or suspected defects in a conservatory.
